Two different betting styles!

In betting world, as in everything in life there are several ways to do certain thing. In this world we have two ways to do it: making gambling betting following the ‘feel’, and bet a rational way.

In gambling, you should look for excitement and fun, nothing else, this is what the bookmakers sell, emotion. This betting method (almost) always result in total destruction of banking and successive deposits. If this is what we seek we have to take account that the risk of losing all the money is very high and money will gone. We should set a maximum spend for a certain time period, the amount only each one can define because it have direct relation with the available capital at the time.

In the second method described by me here, we are investing in order to gain profit. This requires invest in a rational way, as rational as possible.

First we must record all our bets, all of our movements in a more detailed way, all bets placed, the markets for them, the odds, tournaments, registering for see everything in detail where we have advantages and what are our mistakes, so that we can fix. It must be clear what our sport, our market, our championship. Some are good at tennis, other in basket, other dominate several sports, other dominate handicaps, unders / overs, and so on. It’s where we are strong we have to bet. If we engage in betting on something that we have a clear disadvantage that begins to turn to gambling. There has to be discipline!

After we find our market, our “area” where we act, we will study it. This requires obtaining information, all as possible. It is essential to know the true meaning of information. Information is data capable of removing uncertainty, helping us to make a decision. By having in mind data that are not information we are to consider something besides that not being helpful in making our final decision, making it less accurate and precise.

After the decision, the prognosis made, we must make so that we value in our bet. Without the value we should not betting on, only will be negative for us. If we bet on the victory of a team, taking a risk by far, the investment will have to justify the perceived risk. Finding the real value in a bet is the most difficult and complex in this betting world, but that is what will make all the difference. If we seek the EV + we just can bet according to that. Nothing worth to us betting without the value of our side, we can go hitting some predictions, but long term this will lead us to an EV-, precisely the opposite direction to that we want.

After we found our strategy to EV + we have to adapt for a bankroll method management. The Management Board will dictate much of our success. Should be adjusted in the each one way, fulfilling standards that allow us to safety if we have a “bad run”. Bankroll management aim to assure us that if things go wrong for some time we will not lose your bankroll, and if things are going well, will give us more profit. There are numerous bankroll method management, each one should choose what suits you best.

Concluding, each one choose the path they want to follow, whatever you choose should be carried out responsibly, taking into account that this is a dangerous world where sometimes we are from the abyss and did not notice, and discipline, because only with then we obtain our objectives.
