Portugal vs Mozambique – Friendly 

Here we have the first game of the Portuguese team in South Africa, but this is still a friendly game against the team of Mozambique.

The game will be tomorrow at 15:30 in Johannesburg. I don’t think that the Portuguese team will play so good as they did against Cameroon because the World Cup is closer and they don’t want to risk getting some players injury. A friendly is a game to give some pace to the players.

The players that won’t be in the starting line up tomorrow, when they go into the game, they will give everything they got to show the manager that they have value. Against Cape Verde the Portuguese team did a very bad game but they have done a good exhibition against Cameroon where they won by 3 – 1 and the Portuguese fans believe now in their team.

It will be a game with goals, both teams won’t make a very big effort and so there will be very occasions. I don’t know very well this team of Mozambique, but I know that in the last five games they lost 3, draw one and won one against Tunisia by 1 – 0. This team won’t be in the World Cup and they don’t have to manage their squad so they will give everything in this game.

Playing against Portugal always gives an extra motivation. Let’s see a little bit of the teams.

Portugal:

The team managed by Carlos Queiroz had a hard qualification but they get into the final phase. A lot of the fans don’t like the manager and his choices for this world cup are one of the reasons.

I don’t understand also that he didn’t call a player like João Moutinho, but he is the manager and we all have to support him and respect his choices.

I believe in this team, and despite the fact that Cristiano Ronald hasn’t been so well as in Real Madrid, I believe that he will be in very good shape in the world cup. There are also very good players like Nani, Simão and Deco.

If I could I would change a thing in the team, the left defender. I don’t understand why is Duda the main player when there is Fábio Coentrão that made a very good season and was the only one who played well against Cape Verde.

However, I believe in this team and with the injury of Drogba, Portugal has everything to get to the next phase. I know that many don’t believe that this team can beat Brazil, but I believe hat in a World Cup Portugal has also very good players and they can win against Brazil.

I believe that Portugal will win tomorrow and they are the favourites. Despite the fact that this is a friendly game, I think that Portugal plays all their games to win and so I predict a game with goals and a 4 – 0 victory to Portugal.

The team tomorrow will count with lot of support and that has already been seen today in the practice. I believe in this team.

Mozambique:

Honestly, I don’t know anything about this team, I don’t know the players but from the last results I see that they are a very weak team.

Mozambique won’t go to the world cup and play against Portugal will be very good for this team.

By the last results we can see that they aren’t a very good team, and they didn’t get into the World Cup. Will be a easy game for Portugal, but the players of Mozambique will be very motivated, however I don’t think that they will create difficulties.

I believe especially in Liedson and Cristiano Ronaldo to score goals, they are fast players and the defence of Mozambique is not the best. My bet is on the goals because I believe that Portugal will crush this weak team.
