Dortmund vs Hamburg – Bundesliga 

Borussia Dortmund keeps surprising everybody and with 11 games played they are in first place with 28 points wich means that they had only lost 5 points. Dortmund had a huge test when they got a big away victory by 1 – 0 against Mainz (the previous leader). In the last game they won 4 – 0 against Hannover 96.

It’s a team that has been growing and playing well, but I think that they had already got to their top. The manager Klopp has been very well taking the most of his players. They have the best defense in the league with only 7 goals suffered. In the attack Lukas Barrios has been in a great level.

In the last home game the team of Borussia had the luck on their side, avoiding the defeat in the last moments. Playing at home they are a very strong team that doesn’t make many mistakes, but they feel some dificulties when they have to take the lead of the game during the all 90 minutes and if Hamburgo can keep the consistence and be dangerous in the counter attack they can be a hard team.

Borussia will probably play in their usual 4 – 5 – 1. An important information is the fact that probably Barrios and Grosskreutz will not be in the starting team.

Hamburgo is a team that didn’t found yet the stability. They have a team with lot of good players but the results are not very good.

Armin Veh is a manager that likes attacking football, like he did last year in Wolfsburg. This is what Hamburgo team does, but they leave some wholes n the defense. Lately Hamburgo has been a very good team in the attack and they are evolving in that aspect.

They are not very good in defense, starting by the left defender Macel Jensen that is very offensive and forgets sometimes to defend. Mathijssen and Westermann are two defenders that are very slow; they will have to be very well if they want to win ponts against Dortmund. An aspect that is good for Hamburg is the fact that they will not take the lead in the game and have the oportunity to explore the counter atack.

They are a very dangerous team in the attack with very fast players like Pitroipa, Trowchowski, Elia and major strikers Petric and Van Nistelrooy. Hamburgo has all the conditions to win when playing in counter attack. For this game Van Nistelrooy, Rost, Benjamin, Jansen, Elia, Diekmeier, Aogo, Stepanek and Castelen can’t play. However their starting line up is still very strong, but the bench has not very quality because of the injuries. An important aspect is that Hamburgo scored in all away games.

I didn’t like the last home game of Hamburgo, they feel a lot of dificulties when they have to take the lead in the game, and I think that Hamburgo has team to make a surprise in a championship with so many surprises. On the other hand I think that Dortmund is too much favourite.
