This Wednesday the last group begins its action. Spain, Switzerland, Chile and Honduras are the national teams of the group and for me Spain will advance from the group as first without many troubles, with Switzerland and Chile trying to get second place, while Honduras can’t be more ambitious than to score a goal in the event.

In this match we have Spain that will start as the current European winner, and as such has much dignity to defend in the event, for what it expects that it will be very strong since the first whistle of the referee. For me, they have the best midfield of all the national teams with Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas, despite Iniesta still remaining a doubt to start, which opens a place for Xabi Alonso in the defensive midfield of the team. In the wings, they will have David Silva and Pedro to try to feed David Villa, which promises to score many goals in this first phase. The series between the Rays and the Blue Jays are now tied after the first two games. Tonight it’s the last game and the Blue Jays and keep the battle for the top position on the AL East very interesting. They lost the game last night after a collapse from their closer, since they entered on the 9th leading 5-3 and still lost the game 6-7. Tonight both managers go with young but amazing pitchers.

Shaun Marcum will be pitching for the Blue Jays, he has a 2.59 ERA, 5 wins and 1 defeat, just 5 home runs and 21 runs suffered in 73 working innings. Not bad. At home he has six games and his ERA goes down to 2.23. Against the Rays his numbers are even better, with 0.75 ERA in four games in his career. Today, the Colorado Rockies initiate a new series of games, this time with the Washington Nationals. This are two teams with very different ambitions, the Rockies are fighting for a place on the playoffs, on the other hand the Nationals are trying not to be the last one on the table, but in this start of the season they have the same record, 6 victories and six losses.
