Iceland vs Portugal – QL Euro 2012

Portugal seems to be finally Portugal. Portuguese spirit on the pitch, plenty of soul in fight for every ball possession. Portugal win new life with Carlos Queiroz departure and new coach Paulo Bento arrival. I agree with what the coach says when “we have to give credit to the players” because Paulo Bento has not yet had time to change a lot but changed their mind, and this is what made the difference in victory against Denmark.

But the victory over Denmark will not help if Portugal cannot beat Iceland , joining Norway in the top despite having one more game. The coach has put the targets set for the clash today. Winning with good performance is the coach desire. If Paulo Bento wants to accomplish this goal so it’s quite likely that the eleven start be unchanged at least from defense to midfield. In (...)

LA Lakers vs Boston Celtics – NBA Final

The final of the best Basketball in the World has, in my opinion, the two best teams of NBA this season. Some others deserve also to be here, but these two teams were the strongest thanks to their teamwork and also thanks to their individualities that had the ability to solve games.

I think that this series will be wonderful to see. For me the decision of the final will be made in small details. After some hot playoffs with difficult opponents in both sides, the final will gave us lot of emotions, and we can’t forget the fatigue of both teams, specially Boston that had more games and all of them in a great level.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Van Canucks – NHL

This has been the worst series for me. If I bet in Chicago they lose, if I bet in Vancouver they lose. A series that has been irregular in results where the teams just got victories away from home. Chicago has everything to move forward. They lost the first game, but then they showed an excellent behaviour and they won the next three games, two in the General Motors Place. With a comfortable advantage they could close the series at home in Game 5, but they weren’t able to do it because the experience of Vancouver is important and hey won 4 – 1 and delay the decision of the series.

Its impressive the fact that Vancouver weren’t able to be stronger in the two home games. That happens because of the indiscipline and bad games of Luongo, the team lost Games 3 and 4 and (...)

Tonight’s game is determinant in Utah Jazz aspirations. The last defeat in Salt Lake City after a failed shot by Matthews can cost them the entire season, but I don’t believe that they will give up (despite their chances are minimum). Today in Salt Lake, their proud and professionalism is on the line, so as their believe. But in the other side there are the Lakers.

The Vitória de Guimarães is probably, the hardest team that the Futebol Clube do Porto will face in this last five games. After the large victory over Rio Ave that took them to Jamor (to the final of the cup), the FC Porto is searching for another victory in order o put pressure on Sporting de Braga and still believe that they can go to Champions League next season, but only beating Guimarães today that dream is possible.
